Siberia '07 and '08
From the 26th of May till the 23th of June in 2007, our group of youth travelled to the village of Kondinsk in the Tunevsk region to help in the construction of a church building and to share Gods love with the people of the village. This village didn't have a church or a single Christian until the arrival of a missionary, Ivan Udin. Brother Ivan, his wife and three children came to this village with the goal of forming a church. After a while a group of Christians formed. Seven people were baptized and as such a small church they decided to build a church building. When we found out about the difficulties they were facing with this sizable task, we decided to go and help them in the construction process physically and financially.
This year, the 8th of March will signify the opening of the new church building. However, there is still a lot to be finished. In June 2008 we will return to help them in this and to hold several childrens camps and youth meetings. We will also help the scik, old, lonely or widowed with the repair of roofs, fences, homes and etc. We ask you to pray about our ministry and for a revival in this village. Pray for this church.
The Goal
Build a church from the local preference of consturction material - logs.
Participate in a youth outreach through camp, conferences and street evangelism.
